Things to check out:

McGuire's Irish Pub -- best steaks in town, hell one of the best steaks you can get anywhere

The Fish House/Atlas -- two restaurants at the same location -- awesome seafood, great specials during the week

Old Hickory Whiskey Bar

Cub's Crawfish

Pensacola Brewery

Gulf Breeze and beaches are a short drive across the Bay.

For a place that worked to get us to go there, it's not a bad deal!

Old article but still relevant:
Pensacola Rising | Garden and Gun

Ate at the Oar House for a lunch before the game on Friday and enjoyed it so much we ate there for dinner on Saturday.

I’ll add 2 more, George’s bistro near the airport, best mix drinks in Pensacola, and some of the best food, always packed, Union house down town Pensacola across from the baseball stadium, great food.
