That Lamar Jackson fella
Putting up some Heisman trophy numbers in the NFL.

https://www.espn.com/nfl/player/_/id/391...ar-jackson

It would be the right thing if we could redo the 2016 Heisman trophy ceremony and have Deshaun Watson present it to Lamar Jackson. For closure.

RE: That Lamar Jackson fella
I would love to have Lamar back with this current coaching staff ( Scott Satterfield and company ) we have now than what we had then with Bobby Petrino. What everyone has to remember Lamar won the Heisman Trophy on pure talent alone. If he had any coaching at his position other than Bobby’s Son being his mouth piece Lamar would have won back to back Heisman’s hands down. Bobby couldn’t hire people to work for him due to being an ******* so he appointed his Son Nick Petrino as his QB coach who didn’t have any experience what so ever. If Louisville had anyone who knew what they were doing coaching that position Lamar would have won back to back Heismans.

This guy would be so much further a head if the game right now if someone would have taught him the fundamentals of the position. You hear stories out of Baltimore where their QB coach had to teach him things that he should have known from college, but his overall talent hid those flaws. Now we are starting to see the full package of Lamar, and the scary thing is he is only 22 years of age.

People are looking really stupid now and then for their thinking on passing on Lamar for his NFL potential is going to grow and grow and grow to where he is going to own a ton of records and rings when his career is over. [/align]

This may be a first: if Lamar Jackson wins the MVP, he may be the first NFL MVP to be younger than the Heisman Trophy winner. He's one month younger than Joe Burrow.

At his young age he could go down as the greatest NFL player of all time if he keeps going at his current rate. Jim brown lore.

Been away for awhile and really don’t do message boards anymore...no shade to DeShaun who is a class act and a great player in his own right...but what Lamar is doing in the NFL has never been done before.

DeShaun kind of did what you suggested already...during their jersey exchange when they went head to head earlier this year ...he wrote on his jersey to Lamar congrats to the NFL MVP.

2016 was a Special year for QB in the ACC...2 of the 4 Best QBs currently in the World played in the same College Conference at the same time.

If I’m not mistaken he is on pace to be the youngest Heisman and NFL MVP in History...19 years old winning the Heisman...22 years old winning NFL MVP...already the youngest player to win a Division Title..start a NFL Playoff Game...1st Player to pass for over 3000 yards and Rush for over 1000 yards...Youngest player with over 35 Passing TDs and Youngest Player with 3 Games with 5 Passing TDs...

Probably because they still don't want to admit that Lamar was / is the better QB / football player.
