From a Ga Southern perspective Lamb is exactly the type of QB that Satterfield needs to do what they do. He doesn't make many mistakes and executes well what they ask of him. I agree he isn't t going to deliver many highlight plays but is a good solid G5 quarterback. He is one of best 4 quarterbacks in the Belt I would say

He's a nice, not great, G5 QB.
So play calling is the reason for the TD's? Nice. After 400+ throws you want to cherry pick a few throws to criticize him? The guy has a .617 completion ℅ which ties for #51 in the country. Ahead of Deshaun Watson, Austin Appleby of Florida, Tylor O'Conner of Mich St, Lamar Jackson of Louisville, Tommy Armstrong of Nebraska and Joshua Dobbs of Tenn.

You really don't want to compare Lamb to those guys.

Lamb is a nice QB, probably top 5 App has ever had. That said he isn't going to put a team on his arm and win a game at this level of football. He isn't going to lose the game either. Satterfiled has put him in a position to be successful (which includes about one third of his TD passes to wide open WR/TEs) and use his strengths and minimize his weaknesses. While he's our QB we are going to do very well and compete well against G5 programs. You may be reading more than is written.

If Lamb was GA St's QB on Saturday App would have probably lost.

You're a numbers guy. Numbers don't lie. Our offense isn't built on Taylor throwing for 300 yards per game, but there have been times when the ground game struggled and he carried the offense.

23 of 42 for 256 yards vs GA So - 74 yards rushing
25 0f 35 for 276 yards vs ULM - 104 rushing yards
23 of 36 for 357 yards vs AState - 108 yards rushing
14 of 42 for 256 yards vs A State - 167 yards rushing
21 of 28 for 314 yards vs Ga St - 184 rushing yards

There just isn't much he can do if people can't get open. If there was access for All 22 film our judgements of his play this year would probably be more accurate.

14 of 42 is one of your examples? He is a good G5 QB, unless you're arguing he's a top 10 G5 passer we're on the same page, I'm just offering objective criticism of his ceiling. That is unless he improves, I haven't seen that year one to year two. Maybe it's the WRs, maybe the competition, we've still got seven more games. I bet Lamb is more critical of his play than I have been this year.

14-42 is a typo on his part. Against stAte Taylor has been 14-22 for 255 and 22-35 for 321.
