I see Troy rebounding back to their old self. I like New Mexico and GaSt passing attack. Both need to hire new DC to revamp the defense. And Idaho needs to drop to Big Sky

We've been here since 1976. I don't think we're going anywhere. I also don't think we bowl this year. Our schedule was tough, but that's part of playing 'big boy' football.

I still think there's loads of potential, but perhaps Miles isn't the perfect fit and Cobb should look elsewhere if there are no signs of improvement next season.

One thing the announcers were saying during the game that helped me realize some problems Georgia State has:

The announcers were mentioning how many of the scholarshipped Georgia State players were walk-ons that had to get schollies for them to be FBS.

I could see how that would put a serious crimp in recruiting, if all (or most) your players are former walk-ons and you can only offer 25 schollies a year.

Is that true, Georgia State fans? Did you guys have to scholarship a large number of walk-ons to be FBS compliant early on?

Oh wow.... yeah, that'll hurt you for awhile. I know they have a deal with UAB coming up... they should schedule a cupcake FCS instead to get an easy win. Go with Savannah State instead of Abilene Christian 02-13-banana

Yep Savannah State is always good for a win. We play them again in 2016. It is like playing a Junior High team.

Don't quote me on this but I think Ga Southern had to do the same with walk on players and partial scholarship players. If true, would make sense for Ga State.

I think a realistic goal for next year is for no team to finish in the Bottom 10

Troy gets a pass in light of everything that's happened this season, but we need NMSU and Idaho to step up. Georgia State continues to baffle me. I'm not sure I follow... What happened that causes Troy to get a pass? They have a new coach this season because of what happened this season. If they struggle next year as they adjust to a new coaching staff then that's when they get a pass. But not this season. They were expected to be pretty good and stunk it up. Not saying USA set the world on fire either, but nothing happened that caused them to be worse than expected...
