Really amazing how you guys went from arguably the worst looking stadium in FBS to a very nice looking stadium in a single offseason.

Everything has come together very well in a short period of time. Your administration should be commended for their plan and execution.

I think it's going to be a really exciting atmosphere. The pictures don't really do the stadium justice (as most pictures don't at ANY stadium). That 2nd deck and new FOC are much more imposing than they appear in the images you've seen.
In my experience deck pics always need something in the background to do the size justice.

Banana for scale?

Bananas are too variable. 20 oz Coke bottle serve that purpose well.

Just hope our big new deck doesn't outsize the boxes. Oh well, growing pains are a good thing :-)

Not too many men or women complain when a deck outsizes a box.

How do we see the safety with jets closing the gap? I guess we could lower it when we're on offense. 04-rock

Beautiful shot of enlarged stadium.
One of these years think you should paint the end zone building to
seem like a huge Eagle. Know that sounds weird, but would do it
for publicity and instant national recognition and something for fans, players and TV viewers to remember.

GoApp70 you do realize that we're the only ones jazzed about the new digs. Kind words from the nicer among us but die hard Appy and GS fans are the only ones truly enjoying the upgrades. Thankfully we both have some nice digs now eh... You make hatting Appy more fun my friend. Seriously. TOGETHER WE RISE!!!

I think the future is unlimited for both of us. Going to be an interesting journey and hope I see as much of it as possible. Additionally I want to see all the other Sun Belt schools do well and get stronger. It helps all of us.
Here will be another reason to hate us:

Future projects include an estimated $15.6 million expansion to Kidd Brewer Stadium, including north end zone and east side seating additions; $2.2 million for a field hockey facility; $1 million indoor tennis facility; $4.3 million for basketball and volleyball facility improvements, including a new practice facility; $5 million to relocate the track; $1 million to replace the stadium turf; $750,000 for baseball field additions; and $500,000 for a golf driving range and practice area.
In addition, a "Championship Endowment" of $5 million would provide funding for performance-based incentives for coaches.

You do something, we do something, you do something, we do something. Helps both of us.

Weight room? You guys don't need any friggin' weight room. Should convert that to a Rec Room and have unlimited pies and cakes and ice cream. Show your players you appreciate them.

Seriously though have always been impressed with conditioning GaSo players have been in and over the years seen many games you just wore down the other teams. Saw a little of that in your last game. We just got a new S&C Coach a few weeks ago and hope we can always have that same mentality. Lot of our fans thought our team was a little soft last year compared to some years.

TO be honest, we should have had the upgades about ten years ago. But I'm glad we have them now.

Lets pack Paulson and get the funds to start expanded the home side ASAP. 02-13-banana

I really can't wait for the season. Lots of excitement, nerves, and overall joy for the new conference. I think other schools will be surprised at what App and GS bring to the field regarding football. App fans are a bit more reserved (they expect to win, but just wait till right before game day to start gloating). GS fans always expect to win. Quote from a Bama fan after the game, "You guys came into this place expecting to beat us! Great crowd. Loudest group of fans to visit in a long time. Good luck you should win the FCS this year." I hope GS fans travel as well as they do for some of the money games and other teams can see the passion we have for our team. It might seem arrogant or unrealistic, but whats the fun in going into a game and expecting to lose? yea we know it's possible, maybe likely, but we always believe we have a chance until that final whistle blows.

We expect to win every game. Some take it as delusional, some say arrogance...but we're Georgia Southern, and we're supposed to win!
