Quote:At least I'm a dope with a bachelors and masters degree from W.M.U.

Bachelors Degree WMU 1980
3 years with Ora Ida- Sales and Marketing MI,IN, eastern Ill.
12 years with the frozen food division of Pillsbury. MI, OH, northern KY, northern IN. When Vern Payne was the HC, I purchased thousands of dollars in (worthless) radio, programs, and ticket advertising to aid the program, as well as providing grocery sacks full of food (courtesy of the company I worked for) to help the players over winter break and other periods when they were often flat broke. On a few occasions I would have the team and a couple of coaches over, along with some of the "old jock sniffers." Amazingly, those "inner circle jock sniffers" would take credit for what my wife and I and my company had done. A year or so before Payne was fired I washed my hands of the program and the "inner circle" of blowhards and wannabe fat cats.

Masters Degree WMU 1991
2 years teaching 8th grade St. Monicas. Coached both girls and boys hoops.
19 years Kalamazoo Public Schools. Coached both girls and boys hoops.

Wife is a teacher BA/MA WMU, son owns a dental practice BS MSU, Doctorate UM, other son is a WMU grad currently working on his doctorate in FL.

Started the Rivals site for WMU, and ran it for 4 years. Was forced to give it up (although I was ready to be done with it anyway) when I inadvertently revealed that I had donated money to the WMU basketball program.

So Mr.Buttons as you can see our resumes are quite similar. If I was supposed to be blown away it, I'm not.

No intent to blow you away just pointing out that I wasn't a jock sniffer. Glad you helped the program. We both want success for W.M.U athletics and support our university.
However I still feel that politics has no place on this board. I will not change you, and you will not change me so we will leave it at that and hope that Bronco sports will take the forefront.

Politics is on every sports message board. While people complain about it, there are no shortage of opinions, and the traffic often blows away the sports threads.

Take care 04-cheers
