In a down year for bigs Spicer was reasonably highly thought of. From all that I read two things stand out: physically has the upside, mentally is not considered a warrior.

A good get for KSU. Not the presence that will step in and replace Greene with remotely the same effectivness right off the bat. In time and with more physical and mentally tough partner he could do well in the MAC.

Concerning trend?

Losing Michigan kids to other MAC schools. Including out of state schools.
