Turrible. Horrible. What Miami has done.

Of course, this means that the NCAA will drop the hammer on FIU!

RE: Hurricane watch for Miami
We have seen all these programs getting in trouble in recent months/years, and those are only the ones getting caught... of course this is really bad, and he is the whistle blower, but think of all the big schools with the big recruits, you know more goes on, we just don't know about it!

One of the coaches indicted is an assistant at WKU...

How long before the Toppers suggest he find more suitable employment?

2 assistants at Bama, 1 at Fla, 1 at Missouri, several high profile players in the NFL, former AD and now the chairman of the NCAA infractions committee (remember that when punishment time comes). If half of what is in that article is true and given the history of "the U" then if they don't get the death penalty then no school should!!

That won't happen, mark it down the only two programs to ever get the death penalty is Louisiana and SMU.

The big boys can do whatever they want.

oh I agree. They won't give them the death penalty. If this is true then they deserve it but they won't get it.

Ok, I will admit I stole this from someone.

When "The Ohio State University" plays "The U" coming up, it will be called The Ineligibowl. Sorry, I found the humor in that.

RE: Hurricane watch for Miami
Scratch Randy Shannon of the prospective FAU coaching list.

Candidates ?

1. Mike Leach
2. Steve Ellis (MTSU)
3. James Coley (FSU)
4. Charlie Taaffe (UCF)
5. Jim Leavitt (former USF head coach now with 49ers)
6. Teryl Austin (UF DC now with Baltimore Ravens)

Other than Leach, do you think these are good candidates?

Are you serious?

Howard has NEVER been linked to anything like this at all for ANY of his programs. He routinely suspends or kicks of players for even minor infractions.

I know you dont like the man because you TIHNK he encourages dirty play, but to say that he started the culture of Miami's off field antics is pretty out of line. 05-mafia

NCAA is asking to speak to WKU basketball assistant Jake Morton, formerly of Miami, about the allegations.

No one will get the death penalty.....they did that once, and it'll never happen again.
