Take a look at this guys artwork, the prints are extremely cool and he is holding a vote to decide which mascot will be featured in his next series. Since when does scUM even HAVE a mascot?! I've never seen a live wolverine on a leash on the sidelines, or a wolverine-like mascot character. Heck, I thought their mascot was that damned striped helmet.

There has been a surge in votes for Broncos and I wanted to thank you for voting. During a recent trip to Kalamazoo to find out more about what it means to be a Bronco, I met with several members of the WMU community:

President Dunn, Coach Cubit, AD Beauregard, Band Director David Montgomery, The Deans of the Colleges of Arts and Sciences, Education, Engineering, Fine Arts, and the Honors College and many students, alumni, and staff. There is a great deal of passion in the WMU community and I would be honored to create a representation of it in the form of Epic Broncos.

I am hoping you will e-mail, facebook, tweet, shout to your fellow WMU fans and get them to vote. At the time of this e-mail, the Broncos have 1398 votes. If you can get to 3,000 by Friday, August 12th- I will declare the Broncos my next project and unveil the artwork in "Epic" fashion September 23rd at Artprize in Grand Rapids when 3 million people from all over the world will be visiting.

Please get out the vote, I am excited to do this, but the Wolverines and Spartans are out in front. I will personally subsidize a free poster to anyone who votes Broncos between now and Friday (including those who have already voted). I will e-mail instructions when the print is released.
