Jerry Kill: Pride of the prairie
The main story in the Star Tribune's Sunday sports section was on Jerry Kill.

Quote:Jerry Kill's profession has led him from job to job, city to city. But the Gophers coach will always feel the tug of the small Kansas town and the family that shaped him.

I don't harbor any ill-will towards Kill, but I believe the technical word for a story like this is "knob-slobber."

Nice story on Kill, but how can any serious reporter not include the fact that Jerry Kill is a lunch pail kind of guy?

Kind of brings a tear to your eye.

Go get em Jerry, I hope that you shock the Big Ten/leven/twelve with your success at Minnesota.

Yeah it brings a tear all right. Kill is as phony as it gets. I read about two sentences and couldnt take anymore. This guy is all about me, and can't coach himself out of a paperbag on gameday. He is the Gophers problem now, thank the Lord. I dont know many coaches that would pull what he pulled in throwing a championship game
