And there have probably been that many fouls, strangely.

This game was kind of like one of those "no flow" water saving toilets.

Not pretty by any stretch of the imagination.

If u take out the bad calls and add in the missed calls.

U might be right. Hard game to watch.

I think we need to practice shooting free throws. Tell Stan he can have a pizza if he shoots 70 percent for the game. Ok 50 percent

I just heard that Bo Boroski has requested to ref the game on Saturday.

I could not believe the stat line for that game... Insane! Did the ref think he was taking an Asthma test or what..

But what was up with you guy's from the line? I was under the impressiong you're a good FT shooting team.

Looking forward to this weekends game, it's a shame that we could not have taken three to the quarters, I would have rather faced you there..

Overwhelmed with the opportunity and exhausted with all the hoisting.

RE: 53 fouls called and not done
The free throw shooting for both teams was poor, WMU us less poor than TT.

The officals seemed to want and exert themselves into the game in the second half. The best players from both teams were sent to the bench with 5 fouls.

I'm not sure what to blame for the poor shooting from the charity stripe. Both squads shot over 40% from the field, so it wasn't the shooters touch, as much as it might have been the free throw yips. I liken that to the yips that golfers get on short putts that are almost gimme's.

I sort of was hoping that the 3 MAC schools would be put into different brackets, it seems a shame to eliminate someone from the league because of pairings. So be it. I'm trying to decide now whether to go to the Saturday hockey game or the basketball game?????????????

The crowd at the Wednesday night game was 1,627, but the fans were into the game when they needed to be. The student turnout was better than most home games, but that could be improved also. I'm surprised we host another game, but am glad that we are.

Always proud to be a Bronco.

RE: 53 fouls called and not done
I think there were two factors for the broncos poor free throw shooting, one understandable and one inexplicable. The first is Matt Stainbrook, he has never been a very good free throw shooter, but that's ok because he doesn't go to the line very often either (He averages 2.12 ft att. per game) he had more looks than usual and that showed up in the overall He went 1-6. The other is Detmetrius Ward, not sure what happened, but he had an off night shooting 5-11 from the stripe. Very uncharacteristic for Ward and I suspect only a temporary problem, my guess is he'll have his shot back by saturday. If you look at the rest of the broncos they shot their avg. Except for Howard who was well above avg shooting 6-7.
