Taylor Perry scores winning hoop with 1.8 sec left
Here is a copy of the article from Rochester HS website. Way to go Taylor!

Falcons take down Lahser at the buzzer.

Rochester needed a lay-up by Junior Taylor Perry with 1.8 seconds left to defeat Lahser 44-42 to close out the regular season. The Falcons started strong as they scored the final 12 points of the 1st quarter to take a 12-2 lead after 1 quarter. Lahser clawed back and cut the lead to 3 early in the 3rd before the Falcons went on another run to push the lead to 11 at 30-19. Lahser again clawed its way back and eventually tied the game at 42 setting up Perry's heroics.

Leading the way for Rochester was Junior Paris Pereira with 13 points and Taylor Perry with 12 points. Senior Billy Klotz added 9 points, 7 in the 4th quarter, while Senior Nick Bradley and Junior Mike Klotz each chipped in with 3 points for the Falcons. Freshman Jason Lee and Junior Kurt Apostle each added 2 points for Rochester.

With the win, the Falcons finish the season 15-5 overall and 12-2 in league. Rochester will next take on Lake Orion Monday in a District Quarterfinal at Oxford. Game time is 5:30pm.
