Cleveland Hotels
Has anyone from this site made the trip to Cleveland? What are some good hotels/restaraunts in the area? I've stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in years past and that was pretty close and convenient to the Q, but wondering what your thoughts are on others?? Thanks!!

RE: Cleveland Hotels
There is a Radisson right across the street from Gund. Great restaurants in the area and no parking hassle.

The Radisson is very nice and convenient. They may have a "special" for the MAC tourney. The Winking Lizard is close by and Harry Buffalo is also fun place to go to.

stayed in marriot at key center for the WMU 2004 championship. Very nice hotel. I would not stay in the Reniassance. First because it would be hard to get a room since it is the main hotel of the tournament, second because the place is not as great as it is claimed to be.

Are both the Radisson and Marriott at Key Center within walking distance to the Q?

Well the Radisson is right across the street from the Q so it is definitely within walking distance. According to Google Maps, the Marriott is .6 miles from the Q. For comparison sake, the Hilton Garden Inn is about .4 miles from the Q. I hope that helps, my friend!

I also had a meal at the Local Heroes Bar and Grill and is was very good!

Definitely stay downtown near the Q. It has good parking, and is a nice area. There is a real nice sports bar a couple blocks near the quad where the Q is. Basically where the Cavs and Indians fans go to drown their sorrows. Can't think of the name tho. Met some nice sports fans when I was there in 04.

Go hard Broncos--MAC West Champs 2011!

With the key Center...you walk across to the mall and just walk through the mall. It leads right into the "Q"...tunnels into it.
