Quote:Nice to see them bounce back and put Toledo away. Also good to hear the radio announcers say that EZ pulled Trey after a bad defensive lapse and that he got on Trey an D Jackson for getting too cute at the end by going for an alley oop instead of another pass and easy lay up.

Always good to get a road win, plus Toledo's only MAC win this year was against the Broncos!

Sure, and we had a 40 point lead on them too. Just think Doc, you could win 10 games this year. Party on. :domokun:

They always define themselves through WMU. It's pretty funny, actually.

Agree 90, it's not funny. It's pathetic.

It isn't funny or pathetic because that simply isn't the way it is. CMUDOC was laughing at the moo cows for being Toledo's only MAC win this year.

And we're laughing at your pathetic joy over a bad loss of ours, while you're 9-19 for the year.

Already does bring me peace.

Win or lose Saturday, they're awful, ten games below .500 and their season is a wreck.......... and I enjoy that. To see them try such lame attempts at pressing buttons over a bad road loss to Toledo warms my heart, they're that desperate and pathetic.

I love that they define themselves based on our season. I can't wait til we beat their arses on Sat. Then can define our success based on beating them twice. Oh wait!

It's been that way for a very long time.

Every game the chimps win, they always look to see if WMU beat that team. or use Bluechip for an example, as someone put it in his rep, expect him to disappear until the next WMU loss, in which he usually then compares it to how CMU did against that team. I got to say, I love CMU fans. what would MAC life be like without them?

A good reason for the team to leave it all on the floor Saturday

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Western Michigan clinches the MAC West and the #2 seed with: A win OR a Ball State loss
Ball State clinches the MAC West and the #2 seed with: A win AND a Western Michigan loss (tiebreaker B)

Central may not be playing for the MAC West championship this season, but isn't it almost as sweet to spoil that for Western?

Doesn't matter, this team isn't losing to them. They've had their bad loss, and there is a lot riding on this game.

The only thing I seeing derailing this train is another "scuffle".

As Hawk was quoted by Couch, post Kam, Davis mugging of Flen everyone was "un focused". "Someone could let go of a ballon and the boys would of just stop and stare at it as it floated upward".

Would that be beyond a possibility?

At Rose on an inbounds play I had a Chimp fan tug the hem of my shorts, trying to depant me. I managed to get the ball in while mule kicking something or someone. Most fans there already were missing some teeth so I would never be able to tell anyway.

I never looked back and the Zeb was "distracted" by the play.

That scuffle focused our guys, I thought. BallU lost their composure after getting pinned like they did, and we walked away from them.

Those guys didn't know what to make of the PSL boys rallying around eachother like they did so well. Was a thing of beauty. Season making stuff. All I kept thinking when Flen was swatting each comer away, was he was saying to himself, "I have a club for that, whack!!!". MD rallying so fast and tough is something you don't see, he showed his loyalty.

Even Stain jumped in the mix. For a freshmen who's had his struggles, that was good to see.

Central is so small- I think aside from the Brazilian guy their tallest player was about 6'6". While we're a pretty sad excuse for a basketball teamI have to say I wasn't impressed with them. They beat us with quickness but our bench consisted of that famous vocal group from the early sities "The Four Freshmen", three of whom were walk-ons. One fun fact from our game- they missed THREE dunks. I've never seen three missed dunk attempts in one game before. Like I said -they're short, but they can't jump.

I will give EZ a lot of credit though. He showed up the next night to watch the CMU women play and sat directly behind me. He was bobbing his head along with our fight song and we were giving him a hard time about that- he took it well, and agreed it was a pretty catchy tune. Seemed like a very nice guy and it was nice to see him supporting the ladies.
