FB Walk
Just out of curiosity...how has the FB team walk to the stadium tradition been working out? Just realized haven't been to a game since Navy in 2008 :(

RE: FB Walk
Glad this was brought up. I love the Huskie Walk, but the fans that are tailgating need to line the streets and cheer these guys on as they walk past us.

RE: FB Walk
It's just an odd path in my opinion, how do we know when it's actually happening?

but the majority of the tailgaters aren't going to be looking at their watches for that exact time, do they come in with the band?

Saturday we were tailgating in the small K lot and I saw some guys walking by the grass lots in their warm-ups out of the corner of my eye. I then realized that was the march. No music, no organizaiton and it was like 9am. No one in the lot gave it a second thought. That's not to say I don't think it's a good idea. It should be much better given it's HC and people will be plentiful in the east grass lots etc.

RE: FB Walk
We turned our speakers towards the players and put on some Huskie Country, but they probably didn't hear it due to the competition the frats were having to see who could blow up their PA systems first. And they were all pointed in the same direction. I couldn't even hear my own music when it was turned up all the way. My ears were ringing when I went into the stadium.

I know it's really sad...that was my senior year. Since then I never missed one game whether watching or listening via radio(like Purdue last year) Then in August of 09 I moved out of state to get my J.D. and haven't found the time to come back because I'm always so busy with school work. To make matters worse I don't really have anybody I could go back with since I was the only one that went to NIU in my fam, and all of my friends that went to NIU were not into FB so much that they'd come back for a game :(
