passing the ball
I believe we can't win without throwing the ball, the huskies receivers are good some withe great hands. Why don't we pass 30 -40 times? Feed back please

RE: passing the ball
We clearly out-gained U.I. in the passing category.
Traditionally however NIU has had a running game.

RE: passing the ball
I think Harnish can be so affective on the play action and the roll out when he passes. We need to utilize all his talents. I think this is beginning to come together. I was not happy with a couple of possessions against the Illini when we ran it three straight and out without getting a first down.

Illinois' weakness was their secondary. IMO we did not attack it enough. That said I also admit that I do not know if our receivers were open or if other nuances were in play.

RE: passing the ball
I completely agree we need to pass more – we have huge YOUNG WR threats in Moore, Ashford, Daniels, and Johnson. We need to use them more often!

True they all have good hands. Moore can do it all but these short routes can't be the only way we use him, he is way to good. Daniels is the speedy Gonzalez we need to use him, play the boy. Perez is truly the hands man and can make the big catches. When is Johnson going to play and show the Texas boys together again. PASS THE BALL COACH

I am not sure if I was confused but I could have sworn I heard Johnson's name mentioned playing defense for a series. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

RE: passing the ball
I did not hear that...and he'd look quite out of place on D.

I agree that moore could be used more, however, in the practices I saw, I'm not sure Johnson has all of the blocking abilities yet that we like our WR's to have.

however, Palmer and Cox haven't shown anything bad in my opinion to say they should be giving up their spots.

I definitely heard that too, but it was clearly a mistake made by the announcer.
