Things to look forward to in spring football
In no particular order:

-Seeing what all the shouting is about with Anthony Johnson.

-Watching Cameron Bell move the pile.

-Mike Krause back in action.

-Learning about Antoine Kirkland and Barrington Scott.

-Seeing what kind of Dan Sheldon imitation Jayme Wells can do.

-Ditto with Akeem Daniels.

-Assessing the Adam Coleman tight end experiment.

-Finding out if AJ Hill and Jordan Lynch are ready to make a push for the depth chart.

-Seeing if DeMarcus Grady appears in the slot at all, I hope, I hope.

-Will Ed Jackson actually start on the offensive line?

-Who starts at middle linebacker? Devon Butler seems to be making a push.

-Who's our kicker and punter?

-Finding out about Demetrius Stone, Dominique Ware and Sean Evans.

I forgot about Anthony Wells, Stephen O'Neal and Zach Anderson. Basically all the guys who redshirted last season.

Wells, Ware, and Wells again, those are the 3 I'm most curious for.

Obviously the QB's at this point...if Harnisch's injury is as serious as it could be, it's wide open for the fall.

and seeing who steps up on the O-Line

I believe Wedgie will be a solid replacement or Adamski. Its RS FR in the spotlight in the OL. Volk & Krumppell have to show, we need them to contribute, make a difference.

Josh Wilber is our punter, there's no doubt about that this year. Click here to join his fan club: http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/DeKalb-...7592107277

2nd best punter in the MAC with a 40.5 avg last year. How is that bad? He also punted with a broken foot for most of the season.

RE: Things to look forward to in spring football
When the hell did the whole broken foot thing come out? I dont remember hearing that. He had the same number as punts as Salerno did last year. From my drunken state at the moment, I just remember alot of crappy punts (outside the rugby kicks which i hate).

The only team we play is ourselves, so we're guaranteed a .500 record, much better than pretty much any other sport at NIU at the moment.
