You can expect full coverage from the Daily Chronicle from all three media days (MAC, Chicago and DeKalb) and practice once it begins. All practices are at Huskie Stadium and open to the public. The schedule is below. Practice times are subject to change.

Wednesday, August 5 -- Team Reports (Yordon Center), 2-4 p.m.

Thursday, August 6 -- Practice, 6:50 p.m.

Friday, August 7 -- DeKalb Media & Photo Day, 11:30 a.m. Practice, 6:50 p.m.

Saturday, August 8 -- Practice, 9:50 a.m.

Sunday, August 9 -- Practice, 10:05 a.m.

Monday, August 10 -- Practice, 9:50 a.m.

Tuesday, August 11 -- Practice, 9:50 a.m.

Wednesday, August 12 -- Two-a-Day Practices, 9:50 a.m. & 4:20 p.m.

Thursday, August 13 -- Practice, 9:50 a.m.

Friday, August 14 -- Two-a-Day Practices, 9:50 a.m. & 4:20 p.m.

Saturday, August 15 -- Practice (Scrimmage), 9:50 a.m. Season Ticket pickup and Fan Day, 9:30-Noon

Sunday, August 16 -- No Practice

Monday, August 17 -- Two-a-Day Practices, 9:50 a.m. & 4:20 p.m.

Tuesday, August 18 -- Practice, 9:50 a.m.

Wednesday, August 19 -- Two-a-Day Practices, 9:50 a.m. & 4:20 p.m.

Thursday, August 20 -- Practice, 9:50 a.m.

Friday, August 21 -- Practice, 9:50 a.m.

Saturday, August 22 -- Practice (Scrimmage), 9:50 a.m.

Sunday, August 23 -- No Practice

Monday, August 24 -- First Day of Classes (No Practice)

Tuesday, August 25 -- Practice, 3:40 p.m.

Wednesday, August 26 -- Practice, 3:40 p.m.

Thursday, August 27 -- Practice, 3:40 p.m.

Friday, August 28 -- Practice, 3:40 p.m.

Saturday, August 29 -- No Practice

Sunday, August 30 -- Practice, 6:00 p.m.

Monday, August 31 -- No Practice

Is it customary or peculiar NOT to have practices on both aug 29 and 31 the week before opening game?

I thought game time in Madison was 6:30pm.

Making matters more confused, the niuhuskies website and schedule sez 6pm CT

Traditionally, monday is a "day off" for the players, so there is no practice, just weights and film.

Im sure its to keep everyone fresh, but more than that I think its to get everbody into a "normal" game week mindset.
