gcd Wrote:La Fevour was not highly recruited and did not distinguish himself as a QB in high school, most thought he would be a strong safety. CMU lucked out on him. I see Harnish as very similiar to Lafevour. I think Harnish will be an outstaning qb. Also in the last 23 games we have lost 10 by 7 pts or less. Its the close ones that get a big season. Also, this will be the first full recruiting season with the Y in operation.

Did not distinguish himself as a quarterback? Lefevour was first-team all conference in the East Suburban Catholic Conference, honorable mention all-state, and holds the Benet Academy school record with 54 TD's rushing and passing. He was the starting QB in high school from the middle of his sophomore year. Let's face it, Novak wasn't interested in dual threat quarterbacks, and he let the second best quarterback in the MAC get away.

I love watching Dan Lefevour play quarterback. Kid is a dual threat and can be an absolute gunslinger back there. Very, very impressive.

A dual threat, but what separates him from Nate Davis is arm strength. Lefevour does not have the arm strength to be a next level QB like Nate Davis. A good QB and a great showdown last night, but Nate Davis is at a completely different level from Lefevour

I wasn't debating the virtues of Nate Davis. Fact is Davis is a marvelous quarterback with loads of talent. I like him a great deal. But I get huge kick in watching Dan Lefevour play. He is absolutely amazing in what he does back there. Plus he's a cool cucumber under pressure too. He's doubtful going to play on Sundays but that doesn't take away the profound pleasure I get in watching him. One of the best crown jewels the MAC has seen.

For a cool cumcumber he sure looked bad on that last drive under pressure, with 2 poorly thrown balls when it mattered.

Dan Lefevour has accomplished about as much as a MAC quarterback can in three years. Central Michigan's conference record over the last several seasons speaks for itself.

No, it's called having Dan LeFevour as your QB.

You have an odd man crush on Antono Brown. He is not the 2nd coming.
