despite hope and hype: my bball season early forecast
Not counting exhibition games, I revisited the 2007 schedule and foresee between 8 and 10 genuine opportunities to win ball games.05-stirthepot

After having forecasted 7-5 or 6-6 for football01-lauramac2, I'm a tad once burned to go too far out on a limb for hoops.

Perhaps after I watch the dawgs a few games early in the season, I MAY consider crawling out to the .500 mark at season's end.

I'm looking forward to watching more exciting and better played games this season, but efforts may not morph into many more wins this season.

I think everyone agrees wins will be tough this year, but the 2-3 year future of this program looks absolutely FANTASTIC.

We have a tough schedule. UMass, Notre Dame, SIU, Northern Iowa, UW-GB, Loyola among others. Yikes. OOC schedule is going to be rough.

Personally, if we can go middle of the pack in the MAC and pull out a few wins OOC I will be happy this year.
