Priest Holmes ties Emmitt Smith with 25 TDs on the season. Which raises another question, who is the MVP this season?

McNabb's numbers arent nearly as good as Mannings or McNairs. He doesnt deserve it.

but is the MVP (in any sport for that matter) really a stats award, or is it Most valuable. I think McNair and McNabb are neck and neck in this race. Who is more valuable to his respective team?

100% agree. If there is one award that stats should not be looked at, it is MVP. However, Manning and McNabb did not play well yesterday, and I think McNair has pulled ahead with his last second comeback against the Texans, which I might add he was injured.

if stats arent taken into consideration at all, then playing with/ without and injury shouldnt have any influence either

That doesn't make any sense.

Manning will win the MVP and he deserves it you cant take it away from him becaus of one sub par game. The Colts wouldnt be nearly as good without him.

McNabb has had some really crappy games this year especially when the Eagles were stinking up the place early in the season. The only thing he has going for him is wins. I believe the Eagles would be ok without him and that we all saw this based on what happened last season. Honestly, I havent heard anyone outside of you two bozos talking about him as a candidate, he hasnt been having a great year at all. If you put McNabb in there you have to consider Tom Brady and neither of them are deserving.

McNair is without a doubt one of the best in the league, him and Manning are heads and shoulders above the rest this year. These two are equal in terms of importance to their teams but Manning has won the head to head matchups. IMO that should seal the MVP for Manning.

To throw Manning out because of one subpar game is sophomoric, especially since McNair came very close to losing to the Texans.

All we talk about is QB's in this thread, so I went with that, but the real MVP is in Baltimore, and his name is not Jamal.

Torry Holt is better than Moss.
