Thank you for solidifying my earlier thoughts! I had a feeling that you don't watch college basketball, and you just proved that you don't!

Maryland won the NC this year...

nate..he's pretty bad...this is no knock on duke, so why even go there...

the man is a self-described "bracketologist"...what are his qualifications to do that? I picked the same number of correct teams in the tournament that he did...so I guess ESPN will be knocking at my door any day now...and no, that is not my dream job..

Jay Bilas is a self described bracketologist, also... He's also one of the most respected guys in the business.

On selection night he was named an honorary bracketologist when he, Lunardi (IIRC) and Katz made their bracketology picks together. You discredited "bracketology" so I was saying that just cause he's a self proclaimed bracketologist doesn't mean he's a moron.

Lunardi's job is "bracketologist"...Bilas has other responsibilites...you really aren't serious with this are you...if you are, you are really reaching here...

IIRC, Lunardi was there, and I think he was the one with the idea to make Bilas an "honorary bracketologist".

You sure? There were two panels... I could have sworn Lunardi was on one of the panels.

Wow... I'm wrong then... however, I doubt they were making fun of Lunardi himself... I think they were making fun of the name "bracketologist".

Keeping Prosser was huge for Wake. Prosser can coach and recruit and is one of the most underrated/overlooked coaches in my opinion. Sure it will be hard to replace Josh Howard, but they have some recruits who can play. I know most of you haven't seen Chris Paul play, but this kid is fantastic. Paul will be an awesome addition to Wake's backcourt. I look for Wake to finish top 3.

IMO, it is impossible to make predictions until these question marks are answered:

who will be UNC's next coach
will Bosh stay?

ok fine...why would they make fun of the term "bracketologist" when there is only one "self-described" bracketologist out there?

uh huh...

Do you have trouble making these kind of distinction outside of the internet, too? If you ever wanna be in the sports business, you can't use this kind of logic... And I'm saying this as someone who knows that crappy logic will get you nowhere in a business that pays you for your opinion.

So... if my friend Sean calls himself a "pimpmaster" and I make fun of him for that name... am I calling him a moron? Or am I making fun of his name?

Those mighty Heels... who you lost to, and Duke SHELLACKED the next day... FEAR THE TURTLE!
Wow...great memory. I seem to remember Duke getting beat by NC as well. I also seem to remember Duke getting it's ****** kicked by MD earlier that year as well. Big surprise when NC teams win the conference championship when the last 44 out of 50 tourneys have been played in Dukes back yard. I assure you that when the tourney comes to DC in 2005, things will change quite a bit.

what distinction are you talking about anyway...it is wel' known that lunardi is not well liked in inner circles...ever thought about that logic, or did that slip your youthful exurberant mind?

nate..you're wrong...trust me, you are wrong...I know you will have a hard time believing that, but you are dead wrong...stop acting like you know everything about everything in the world...it makes you look foolish...this is somthing that you will have to learn about, if you want to suceed in life, period....
