Beat Ball State Please
This game with Ball State is very important for our program IMO. They are struggling bad, already losing 20 games, and now dealing with possible sanctions. They are drawing nobody down there, and there are fans that want Thompson fired already.

On the other hand we need this win to get to the .500 mark and still have some seeding implications to play for. A win makes a losing season very unlikely and keeps hope alive that we can make some noise in the confrence tournament.

If it goes as badly in Muncie as it has in some other road games this year and we are all but guaranteed another losing season, I am going to start questioning the mental toughness of this team.

Agree about the importance of this game in a venue where we have struggled through the years. However, I believe that our guys know that they are better than BSU and also know how tough wins are to come by on the road. They'll be ready and I believe, hungry.

I see this season much like one I witnessed while a student at Western in the 70's. The year before WMU's greatest team ever made it's run, they finished barely over .500 and were up and down. The next year, they obliterated the record books.

Great things are coming for this group. I'd love to see them finish very strong this season to lay the foundation for next year.

Start by beating the Cardinals in Muncie and then turn our attention to the tournament. What have we got to lose? It's all upside now......
