East division coming up
It could be worse than sitting at 3-2 in MAC play as we await our swing through the East division. Sure would love to have that NIU game back. The big question is when is our team going to finally break through and win a game on the road?

Road games at BG, Akron and Miami in the next two weeks. Not sure I see a win in there. Best chance would be BG or Miami.

Home games with Buffalo, Ohio and Kent State. Tough slate ahead. Our offense has come around but I'm more concerned about our defense. I might be being too pessimistic, but I could realistically see us going 2-4 or maybe at best, 3-3 against the East teams.

Maybe they'll surprise me.

If we don't play better D (like middle school boxing out-playing defense with our feet-and communicating) it'll be a long season. I wasn't at all happy with the way we played against EMU.

We need too win atleast 2 out of 3 next games on a road, if we want to win the Mac West.
