I hate to say this but the Broncos should have won this game. From what I could tell from our biased announcers we did win the game against the Seminoles/refs. Final score doesnt say it tho. Will agree that it will help our recruiting efforts in Florida.

I agree on the great effort and I love the way we battled until the end. Two mistakes doomed us - the Int. return for the TD and gambling and going for it on 4th and inches deep in our own territory. Our D had prevented them from driving the length of the field all day. Had we not gambled and pinned them deep to play field position, we probably win that game. I read in an article somewhere that Bill Cubit said, the guys all wanted to go for it so he said, OK.

If there is such a thing as a "good loss" or some good to come out of a loss, we saw a team finally yesterday that didn't fall apart on the road after a major mistake but instead sucked it up and kept on coming.

IMO, bodes well for our game next week at Akron. Play like we did yesterday and we will beat them.

As for Monty, while I love that he is a homer announcer, he tends to whine a bit too much about officials. Not saying he's wrong. I read some of the game threads on an FSU board last night - they had been having problems with their audio during the game and found the Bronco radio feed and listened. They were not amused with the whining. But then, they were already PO'd as they are not used to losing.
