Now that our guys have gotten by the potential "trap" game with no letdown, I'm looking forward to getting them all healthy for the trip to Ohio.

Much better offense tonight but we know much of that was the caliber of the opponent. Lots of guys got to play tonight. Peregrin ("Falcon") played and they even got Caleb Clark in there for about the final 5 minutes.

Again this week, except for the scoring drive for Temple, the defense was superb. Biggers picked one, Buskirk got one and Fryar did too.

Once the rain got really heavy, Bonds came up with some great power runs. I just have to love how we are playing right now.

Temple's one score was on a fluke punt. The ball did an odd bounce and hit a Western player ( by this time we were playing our 2nd and 3rd stringers) without him knowing it---they recovered it on the 20. Then luck hit for them on on 3rd and 28 putting them on the 8. Cubit let the 2nd squad play anyway. Like Joe Novak today, Cubit showed pure class and kept the 1st squad of the field.

I would like to offer an apology to the Temple team for the A-hole students that Booed them as they were leaving the stadium. They were dicks and there is no excuse for their actions. Please forgive us, those pricks are the minorities.

We are in good position going into the bye week, we need Delmas to get healthy, without him we could be in trouble.
