Went to UCONN about a week ago(just to check it out). I know why they built that new stadium(which I drove by and is very nice-but it was from a distance so I didn't get a good close up look). Their old football stadium reminded me very much of Ball States(but in a little better condition). There was no way they could expand it enough to be competitive with the big boys because the b-ball arena is literally right next to the stadium. Not sure why they couldn't find a place on campus to build it but the campus is pretty far off the beaten path(even moreso than Kent-if that can be believed) so the traffic problems and a lack of population in the area could have been a concern(of course the govt putting it where they wanted it was also a factor).

Drove by Yale too. I didn't stop though. Seems nice but not really what I expected.

I of course had to stop at the ever famous Quinnipiac University. :) It is very small but in a very nice setting.
