Local QB Joe Ganz decommits from EMU for Nebraska. DB Bobby Buchanan decom's from Illinois for Lousville. Per EdgyTim - Expect more decom's from Illinois athletes in the days to come. Maybe we are already seeing the effects of decommits with the addition of the Missouri TE. Maybe someone has already jumped ship from the Huskies?

I see that 6'9" OT from Minn that we offered, committed to Princeton. I'll assume that he chose basketball over football. I know there is no way that I would choose the D-1AA school over a D-1, even if it's the Ivy League, that is unless he has no desire to play professionally. If that's the case, then choose the better academic school.

I'm not worried at all about football.
Does anyone know if all those Schaumburg basketball players can de-committ? They've got to be thinking about it with the state of our program.
THAT would be a disaster beyond reckoning.... :crying:

One of the coaches at Glenbrook South, which has played Schaumburg in the past has said that NIU wouldn't have gotten Pancratz if it hadn't been for the fact that he commited early and that Judson has close ties to the northern and northwest suburbs. Meaning the people who want to fire Judson can be sure that both Schaumburg recruits would bolt for other offers.

They signed a letter of intent with NIU not the coach. If the coach is fired they can apply for a release, but it is at the sole discretion of the University. Usually they let them leave, because you do not want negative press like Bradley received in the Grainger situation.

Well EMU for Nebraska...Thats a no brainer, especially with a new coach...Buchannon probably say that U of I recruits aren't much better than anyone else's in the midwest, and Louisville is in the Big East soon so, he made a smart move.
I doubt any NIU guys will De-Committ...Signing day isn't too far off.
On a side note Brando Beal, the Missouri TE we got to verbal, is he the best hoops recruit we got this year too?
A SG/SF...Will he play both sports?

I hope that beal will walk on to the basketball team. I really don't know how good he is but he can't hurt the basketball team.

One thing about these decommits is we can maybe swoop in and get a kid who decommitts from U of I...
Looking at Our Recruits we did a really nice job, better than NW i'd say...
Anyone know of any last minute guys we may be able to get a verbal out of?

I beleive that our recruiting class is full. Greg Turner has been offered a grey-shirt. I think that means he is guaranteed a scholy after his freshman year.
