How much lower can we sink?

Next years team will be better if only for the fact they don't give up. They will be too young to give up on trying to win every game.

But then again next years football team is gonna rebuild too right alum????

Alum,

You obviously don't follow MAC basketball. Ohio U. has always been competitive in MAC basketball and has a strong and loyal fan base. Despite the fact that they are having a down year in the MAC East, they drew 9,200 for their home game against us a month ago. I was at the MAC tournament last year and they brought about 5,000 of the loudest fans I've heard to Cleveland. Compare that to a Saturday afternoon nap at the Convo Center, and you can see how he might make his decision.

Mr. One Dimensional in his affiliation with NIU:

I do follow MAC basketball and I do know the tradition of the solidly supported program at Ohio. Still doesn't explain how one of the blue chip point guard prospects in the State of Illinois chose the Bobcats over a host of other choices. Given our screaming need for a point guard, I would have liked for Jeremy Fears to have been on Rob Judson's radar screen even though the probability of landing him was quite low. To my knowledge, Fears was not pursued by NIU with any real vigor.

I actually have to agree with alum on this one...

No reason a PG from our state should be going to another MAC school when our Screaming need was in fact a PG...Judson duffed that up...

This reminds me of how bob davie messed up notre dame by recruitng like 5 QB's and 5 TE's in one recruting class...Those may have been a bit exaggerated, but the point is he overstocked some positions he didn't need and let the others suffer, that makes for a bad team and an even worse program
