We FINALLY win a game and everybody runs away? Hughes with 6 blocks, Smallwood with 20 or so points, McKinney played well(NO TURNOVERS). Finally get a complete game from the team. Really enjoyed their coach. He turned around and talked to the Huskie fans a few times during the game. I have never seen that before. It was actually FUN to go to a Huskie game! Bring on CMU! Ok, I know I am going a little overboard now. Unfortunately, we may have cost them a possible shot at the NIT but the Huskies come first.

NIU played well tonight it was good to see them win....I wish more people would have been at the game to see it. Maybe they will make a charge in the tournament.

We haven't been that far off in many of our games, many under 10 points. We just couldn't finish them strong. CMU and EMU will be huge games. If we can keep WMU close and win the others, it will be a huge shot in the arm going into the tournament. Anything can happen.

Did you notice there appears to be a leak in the roof already? They had the concessions that are usually open closed and covered with plastic. Maybe we should have spent a little more to get a QUALITY building instead of one where the roof leaks after not even 2 years of use. Hopefully it is still under warranty. I wonder how many corners they cut to make it on budget?

If the basketball team were as good as the building, there would be 9,000 there for every game. Unfortunately, the team is not even good enough for Evans Field House.

Impressive win! Our season has been saved! Coach Illini Guy deserves a raise! EMU and CMU can't stop us now! Heck, even WMU is worried!

Spring football game is April 15 @ 7:00 p.m.

My recommendation: Avoid taking too much out of the game they deserved to win. Maybe we can notch one or two more wins which would be a good thing. There can be no shot in anyone's arm at this point in the saeason for the MAC tourney.

While hope springs eternal and players and staff continue to compete, the reality is we are not very good for alot of reasons.

Maybe a few more kicks in the groin but no shot in the arm.

Go away Cybes. Always the pessimist. Try thinking positive for once! :)
