Most of the preseason lists I have seen put NIU between 50-65 in the nation, seems pretty reasonable I guess.

Just wondering what road games people are going to this year. I plan on going to Western Michigan and Iowa State, I hope NIU fans can make as much noise at Ames as they did in Toledo!

When the heck is the football schedule going to come out?

UCF Website said first week of March but apparently they havn't been in MAC long enough to know things are never on time. Delay probably has to do with TV and or someone still trying to schedule an OOC game because of scheduling conflicts.
GO HUSKIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think the TV is more likely. I wonder if NIU is trying to get a game at solider field, someone said that Novak hinted towards that in an interview, any more news on that front?

You guys had a great crowd at Toledo last November, despite the rainy and cold weather. Your fans were very spirited and into the game the whole time. They were very loud. That was the best road crowd I have seen in the Glass Bowl since the UT/Syracuse game in 1999.

CAB (campus activity board) sponsored a student bus for $20 (ticket, bus ride, and snacks). The group of students was great, I hope they do this for at least Iowa St. and Western Mich (BSU?). They should prob promote it a little bit more...didn't really start ads until a few days before the game otherwise CAB did a great job. A great deal for $20 and a blast, too bad we didn't win.

Depending on dates, UCF. Kids get to see Mickey and dad gets to see Victor E.

I know they are only playing 11 games this year. No one wants to play NIU anymore, especially after last year. The non-conference teams are at Maryland, at Iowa State and at home against Southern Illinois.
