Seeing as we basically play a three guard offense, he's not a bad fit. Let's just hope his game is better than what he showed in Iowa.

I think this kid has talent...Iowa and Notre Dame wanted him.

Can't be too bad, he seems to be a pretty darn good talent. Heck I don't mind having a kid from Iowa want to transfer to NIU, he has the talent to be an ALL MAC type player.

Rand is a good pickup for Judson and staff, he will be a strong contributor for three years after sitting out next year. Rand and Pancratz on the wings in two years will be a tough matchup in the MAC.

I wonder if the scholly Rand gets is the one available from JByrd next year....or if Jud is assuming Colonel Sanders' is done?

If I am not mistaken, Rand will count on scholarship even in the year he sits out. He may be paying his own way next year to avoid this, and be treated as a walk on until 2005.
