The funny thing was right before that play I reflected on the final drive against JMU in the '07 playoffs. The situation was dire and App let JMU march right down the field into field goal range which would win the game, the next thing you know, Micky inexplicably runs another play and the Apps create a turnover. That hit on Dobbs and the situation was all too familiar except that Stringer dove OVER the ball for the second time that game.

The wild thing is the way that ball bounced. If that thing goes the other direction, it likely goes into the end zone and out the side for a touchback, essentially giving App a field goal attempt at a win.

It had to be the perfect set of circumstances for that ball to bounce like it did...
