In my youth I went to a seminar on "being an agent for change." Much of it was about how hard it is to get older employees to buy into new concepts. As I get older it becomes more difficult for me to change, 90% of the supposed "new" ideas are simply old ideas repackaged under a new name. So from the get go, you know they are destined to fail. So in a nutshell, change is not easy for those who are getting older. Acer will come around, I sure of it..............and yes, he'll likely defend all of WMU's shortcomings.
