Since joining The Belt, I've enjoyed watching the Red Wolves and Cajuns annual "get together". . . . . Some very good football . . . Looking forward to another great game next week . . . .

Weird. Two biggest games on the Sun Belt schedule are Tuesday and Thursday this week. At least they're both televised in primetime.

It's weird that both are the same week. Seems like at least one of these games should be saved for November.

Ours goes back to 1932.

You guys may have played in 1932 but after 39 y'all have only played 30 times (after 1939 app and ga. Southern didn't play again until all the way until 1989)

So sounds like a pretty recent "heated" rivalry

Buddy Jewell will be giving a free pre game concert for this one.

I fully admit, I had never heard of Buddy Jewell, until I googled him and figured out he is an Arkansas State grad. So I guess Squidward Tentacles is now the 2nd most famous Arkansas State alum?

I think Squidward is more famous than Buddy.

Hmmmm, Google search says.......

Squidward - 1,310,000 results
Buddy Jewell - 114,000 results

Pretty drastic.

But Buddy does play music a whole lot better than Squidward and is a better and more positive person....and of course, is real.

Watching the end of Oregon @ Washington.

They put an illustration up of next games coming up on ESPN platforms. They showed the Tuesday night game.

The UL image was that of the Lafayette Leopards......

I saw that too, the poor Cajuns just can't get away from the Leopards stigma.
