It isn't going to be good when they start the season 0-3..

Quote:Nobody logically can link coach Brian Kelly's poor judgment off the field over the past year of turmoil and tragedy with his team's poor play on it.

Wait... what?

I thought that's exactly what most of us have been doing...

Translation: Nobody that is drinking the ND kool aid will link the two.

Those gold sunglasses may cancel out the glare from the golden dome but they don't allow ND supporters to see what the rest can see.

Quote:To me, it simply makes Floyd the imperfect 2011 symbol of where Notre Dame football finds itself: a desperate program willing to compromise its principles to regain lost glory

They got exactly what they wanted: a coach without standards, a moral compass or respect for ND or his players. He may yet win, but at what cost??

RE: Kelly assessed - Whinny1 - 09-15-2011 12:40 PM

Wait! His poor judgment off the field THE PAST YEAR??? What about all those preceding years when he was coaching elsewhere?!! This is hardly something new for Kelly. Leopards don't change their spots and suddenly turn into leprechauns.

^ Every once in a while I amuse myself. *snicker*

Funny.

I can't believe they handled MSU like that. ND getting their first win was the only downer of an otherwise sweet sports weekend for me.
