1) I assume the feed has no sound and isn't coordinated with the radio guys?
2) I assume this will be what Fatty's is going to have.
3) Any thouights if I am better going with the radio only or best to give the All-Access a shot?

Crazy in this age of technology not to have our game on TV and have to listen on the radio like we are backin the 1930s and the fireside chats. (though, could have said the same in the late 90s/early 2000s). Almost too bad we can't make all of our road games the mid-week games :)

Wake up people, we've got a home opener tonight!

I'm excited to see what NIU can do against an opponent more on their level. As I'm sure most of you remember, the Tigers defeated NIU on their home court 75-73 last year.

However, this isnt the same TSU squad. They are picked to finish in the cellar of the OVC (ahead of only one team - sunday's opponent SEMO St.) We'll see a different team this year. They have a new head coach and their best player Gerald Robinson Jr (17.8 ppg) transferred to Georgia.

The Tigers are 0-1 losing to Siena 85-69.

I know it's early but if the Huskies want to prove that they are an improved team and are worth watching this season, they need to take care of business this weekend. These are two games we should be able to win even without Silas.
After some positives at points when we weren't hampered by fouls vs. Northwestern and some strong positives in play at Illinois, we get to have our home opener tonight! Tennessee State I think beat us at their place last year. I'd think that with most everyone back we'd be in position to win this one at home this year, even without Silas (although I'd feel much more confident with him!). And, then another home game two days from now with SEMO coming in for the return game. I'm sure the guys are glad to be home for the games this weekend. They can run out to the rousing and loud home crowd and the, um, er, um, well, they can at least run out to a court they are familiar with to a smattering of claps from family and friends and maybe some alumni. And of course maybe some fans who are there or watching on Huskievision to look for negatives to post on the message boards later tonight. At least they got all that going for them. I'm looking forward to making both of these games and seeing the team play. I'm coming Sunday for sure and likely tonight even if pushing the start time.

I have attended every home game in the Ricardo Patton era and the first two away games this year. I agree that Mike Dinunno has not played well the first two games. I feel that he struggles when he is facing someone more athletic and/or bigger than him. He is extremely confident and has no fear. Just like the quarterback in football being blamed for more than he should, a point guard in basketball is at times treated the same way if he turns over the ball. Dinunno is an aggressive, confident and have no fear player. I like Bryan Hall as well but he is a different player at the moment than Dinunno. He just runs the offense and plays good defense but does not even look to shoot even when he is wide open. I think he makes a perfect back up point guard. The first game where the Huskies shoot poorly and lose everybody will be yelling that Hall needs to look and hit the open shot. Everyone on the Huskies is going to have a great game this year. The Illinois game is going to be one of Hall's great games this year. This team is fortunate to have alot of depth for the MAC. Against the Big Ten it seems like we do not but when we get in conference play I think our depth will show. The first two games this year I feel that Coach Patton sat Dinunno more when he is not on because of the improved depth this year by going with Hall or Patton at point. Anderson sometimes plays point but he is not a point guard and makes more mistakes than Dinunno. When Dinunno is going good I think he gives you much more than the other three at the point. If he was as bad as you make him out to be why did the MAC coaches put him on the All-MAC freshman team last year? Let's lighten up on Mike. Coach Patton pulls anybody who makes a mistake quickly in the first place so if he continues to make poor decisions he will be riding the pine like he should. We will need everybody to capture the MAC title this year (Silas, Anderson, Kowal, Nixon, Dinunno, Erwin, Hall, Storm, Fukuade, Dzepina, Patton and Fisher).
