The new trend is to schedule more regionally to get your attendence up
and to cut travel costs. I can understand that, makes perfect business
sense to me. So, i was wondering why Tulane/UL Lafayette can't get
a home/home series going. We both average about 20,000 per home game. So, wouldn't you think that a home game in either New Orleans, or Lafayette would draw 30,000 ? Come on Athletic Directors, Get
your bean counters working.. I think a Ragin Cajun/ Green Wave series could grow into a good Rivalry, don't you? And think of the Travel Savings !

A busy student is a happy student! The happiest students are those who have found their place in a college that meets their academic and social needs, leaving them with so many activities that there's just not enough time in the day to be homesick or stressed. The Princeton Review's survey of 120,000 college students for "The Best 368 Colleges: 2009 Edition" revealed the top 10 schools with the happiest students. Read excerpts from the students’ responses to the survey below.

10. Tulane University (New Orleans, La.)
Tulane, "the ultimate work hard, play hard school" whose strong academics and laid-back approach make it the place where all the "cool, smart kids" go, is a place that inspires the type of student devotion rarely found at schools that lack powerhouse sports programs. Tulane students love exploring New Orleans, a city full of "art galleries and museums," "amazing" shopping on Magazine Street, "family-owned restaurants in the uptown area," "touristy" places in the French Quarter, and "a lot [of] different bars near campus." The city also boasts an "unparalleled music scene." Tulane undergrads point out that the school is "one of the most geographically diverse schools in the country," observing that "75 percent of the students come from more than 500 miles away." "Everyone here manages to find [his or her] own little niche."
QB; Joe Kemp looks to be ahead of Moore at this stage. Elliot running third. Scelfo no participating.
FB: Stephany is looking very good. Great size, good speed and excellent hands.
OL; In a battle with the improved DL.
WR; We need more speed.
DL; Much more physical than at this time last year. Need more bodies. Scott is very impressive. Ellis and Sparks moved to DE and doing very well.
LB; Solid group. Much bigger and stronger than in recent past. Good speed.
DB; Look to be much improved as a group. Picked off four passes in today's "scrimmage."

QB -- Kemp is the most promising of all. Strongest arm, and most athletic. He still needs some grooming. He tends to force some of his passes.

RB -- There is no replacing Forte, but Alexander will be an excellent back. His back-up, Agers if very quick and can help.

WR -- Much more physical.

FB -- Look for the FB position to get more calls this coming season. Stephany is really maturing.

OL -- Much bigger, much more physical, much more experienced. Should be an improved bunch. A recent write-up had Nierman competing at guard and center, but I have only seen him practice at center. He seems to be the leader at that position.

DL -- Bigger, quicker, stronger, experienced, should do well.
Compare to Aryan Barto's 33 reps. His time in the 40 was no more impressive. Will he be drafted high? Probably, but not based on those numbers.
