What area of town would be better for us travel and convenience wise? What touristy sites do you recommend? We went to a UTEP-SMU game about 3 years ago and I thought your school was very nice. I loved your architecture and the fans (for the most part) were nice and courteous. That time we only went to the games, I say games because we also attended the Cowboys game that time. Thanks for your help. May the best team win. Go Miners--Go CUSA

For the first time in a few decades, SMU has the horses to be confident every week.

The old joke " We're not just small but we're slow too." is not the case. When Coach Bennett took over this team from Mike Cavan there we 7 players that even weighed 270. We had a TON of 5-9, 4.7 speed guys. OH BOY

SMU has a two deep O-line and a two deep D-line of real Div I players.

If the ball bounces the right way this year we will look VERY good. If we play up to our talent, a bowl game awaits. And if we blow up or get some key injuries, we could have a losing season.

If you do not know SMU, it is the hardest job in Div I. SMU does not have Athletic friendly majors, does not take non qualified JUCO talent and insists on high ACT/SAT scores as compared to NCAA standards.

Bennett is a good man and he has worked with a difficult system to BUILD a good team. Class by class, player by player. Watch us this year and see if you do not agree.

If you come to a game, walk down the Boulevard and find the Cirro BUS Stop and say hello.
