I just purchased and received two Stetson basketball media guides that I ordered off ebay....one from the Glenn Wikles era and another for the 95-96 Randy Brown era.

KOS, or anyone else - could you tell me what happened to Randy Brown? Why did he leave after only two seasons? I see he didnt perform very well!

I've got a collection of sports cards of former UCF and Stetson players who have gone pro in either football or baseball.

Could someone refresh my memory of who from Stetson has or is still playing pro-ball (besides Lenny DiNardo)?

I've never advocated the termination of Derek Waugh but how long is Stetson basketball going to go on like this?

7-14 overall (3-7 in conference play). AT this rate, we won't even make the Asun tourny.

Yes, I know KOS that Stetson is a baseball school. Yes I know we don't have the budget to hire someone else, but come on....blowing an 18 point lead to Mercer I think has pushed me over the edge on this issue.

Mark my words right now...I swear, if we fail to make the A-Sun tourney, or even fail to finish in the top 6, this coaching staff (as much as I like them personally) needs to reevaluated. There is no excuse whatsoever for us to miss this tourny this year, esp. with all the new non-qualifying teams....and esp. since we've got most everyone returning from last year's squad.

I know it's early and I don't mean to jump the gun but I'm just throwing this out there right here, right now.

But for now...the next game's against UCF on the 26th, 7:30pm.

Wow, I just checked out the Stetson bball roster and noticed that we had gotten a transfer from a CUSA team - Marshall.

He's 6'9" and has to sit out this year.

what gives with this guy....how'd we land him?

I'm buds with the coaches and just emailed them. We shall see.....but regardless, this seems like a decent transfer.

Kilgore flunked out and their stud post man from California, Ryan Hynes, is academically ineligible as well.

That's a real shame. So it looks like Eric Diaz at 6'6" is our tallest incoming player.

No reason. I just began following Stetson basketball a few months ago. He just has the most unique name in college basketball, and I wondered if he would be on the roster again. Haven't heard anything to the contrary.
