"MAC Media Day Live" from Ohio ISP
Hello from downtown Detroit!

Friday is MAC Football Media day and on Friday night, the Ohio ISP Sports Network hits the "air" with MAC Media Day Live.

Even though this is an Ohio product, Huskie fans, and all MAC fans will get value out of the show. We'll preview every team with comments from players and coaches. We've done many of these special shows over the past year and we want other fans around the league to hear how we broadcast at Ohio.

Some of you might know that NIU is very important to my family and I, and of course I'm hoping for good things for the Huskies in 2010 and beyond!

We look forward to talking to you from Detroit on Friday at 5pm central!

No disrespect at all to you, and I appreciate the efforts to cover the MAC, but media days are such a joke I have learned.

I certainly hope that this is better than last year's MAC preview. Hopefully, it is a bit less of a love fest for Ohio and Michigan MAC teams. NIU was barely covered, and the first mention of NIU was almost 40 minutes into the 1-hour program.

IT IS COMING FROM OHIO - birthplace of MAC and home to conference office.

Broadcast plays to their primary audience.

Why expect anything much different?

Then they should not expect anyone outside of Ohio to watch.

Maybe I'm just stupid. I would expect that there would be equal coverage of all teams in the league, including those teams from Illinois, Indiana, New York, and Pennsylvania.

Gang,

This is an internet only radio show. You will hear bites from every MAC coach, a rewind from last season, and a full interview with commissioner Jon Steinbrecher.

Of course there will be Ohio content, full interviews with Frank Solich and Noah Keller, but all MAC fans will get something out of the show.

Because of my ties to NIU, my knowledge of the Huskies is pretty good. Trust me, they won't be shortchanged!

Talk to you tonight!
