Hey I am going to post this in the other thread as well.

I just wanted to say that ya'll have no idea how much help ya'll have been. I have been reading the messages that you all have written on this thread and the other one to help her realize just how many people care for her well being. Her entire demeanor has changed and she wanted me to write a public letter of thanks to everyone. She is now crying tears of happiness rather than worry (or so she says).

She loves ya'll!

God's response to our heartache is to climb into it with us. God knows we can't handle the tough stuff of life alone. So he walked through the worst life has to offer, taking it all on the cross, so that we would not have to face it alone. And so that we would know that ultimately the tough stuff of life will not have the final word but God will, and that word will be good.

God gives us grace when life is more than we can handle.

My mother in law had to have a shunt put in for normal hydrocephlic pressure several years ago. Y'all are in my prayers for a good diagnosis and a speedy recovery.

Just spoke to Neil, my nephew. His bride-to-be has a benign cyst which has caused all the problems. A 'shunt' was placed to help out. She'll be in hospital a couple days and will determine at a future date how to deal with cyst. It is a positive situation. He personally wanted me to thank everyone for their 'pm's' and prayers.

Thank God it was benign. When I read about this last night, I was sick to my stomach. Stuff like this shouldn't happen to such a young person. I hope and pray this is resolved and taken care of soon and she will be back to normal ASAP.

Hey I just wanted to let everyone know how grateful I am.

Thanks, Mark for getting the word out. To everyone who sent us prayers....words can't describe how thankful I am to have had the privilege of receiving your prayers and well wishes. This has been a tough time, and it hurts to see her in as much pain as she is in. I keep reminding her that this is what life does, and that we can become stronger through what we go through.

Her main concern is how this will affect our wedding. I keep telling her that she is going to walk down that aisle on May 22 and we are going to fly to Rome right after and have a great time together beginning our lives with each other. She has said that she wants to get a membership to this site just to thank everyone herself.

Right now she is wearing her Memphis Tigers pajamas, so I can't stop telling her how beautiful she looks!

I just wanted to say thanks and I owe all of you the utmost gratitude...If you are ever in Birmingham and need a good place to eat/sleep/pass the time....pm me and I will be more than happy to accommodate.
