That is not a new logo.... we have the Jolly Roger for a few years. This better not be some hoax

It's not the pedro on the field, therefore it makes it "new" to the field.

It is not a hoax, I climbed the wall and saw it. Although it was dark, it was really awesome. Pirate Nation will be blown away thursday night.

That looks hot. When I first say the rendering yesterday, the state of NC was just an outline, not filled in with purple. If it was that then I would have been disappointed. I like the new logo. I wonder if they will keep it.

I like the logo, very nice.

Earlier in the year I wouldn't have given ECU a chance in the VT game. You guys are coming along and VT is struggling. I hope you guys pull it out, it would be a really nice win for the conference. I'm now leaning towards a ECU @ UH in the Championship game. If ECU wins out they will most likely be ranked and that would make a sweet Nationally televised championship game for CUSA.

No, its not a new logo.Just a new use for an approved mark.A pretty darn good way to use it in my view.

Logo looks awesome. When I was in NC for the UCF v ECU game, I always thought your colors should have been red/black or Silver/black.

That logo is currently being used on Billboards across the state...
I think the billboard has "East Carolina/ Where Purple Reigns" scripted across the top and bottom.
