New UAB Website
Some student leaders at UAB have gotten together and created ilove.com.
The sight is mainly built around students and the goings on at UAB but, still site design is pretty cool and has awesome articles like UAB cutie of the month. 03-wink

Link- I Love UAB!

Ah, fixed it.

I like the website. Is this like a school project or just some random guy's way to show the love? Either way it's great and he should write a letter to the editor in the K-scope to let people know about it. Better yet, a K-scope reporter who needs to write a story should do one on this website.

It's just some guy (Greek President) who loves UAB and wanted to create a website about UAB student life since main.uab.edu sucked balls and didn't really let the students know what was going on on campus. As for the kscope I'm supposed to start writing for it soon so I'll be sure to drop that in someone's ear...

Great job. I'm glad to see that you're going to show K-Scope how to write an article.

Okay the cutie on the website is hilarious. She has to be a Democrat because Republicans are too conservative to smoke marijuana. Lol

RE: New UAB Website
Hey guys, my name is Andrew Stone and I am the creator of iloveuab.com. I started the site simply because I saw a need for it and I thought it would be a lot of fun. So far, the community reaction towards it has been very positive and it has grown in popularity exponentially. I am just now realizing how big this site could actually be. It is amazing what word of mouth promotion and Facebook can do for a website!

Yesterday, I invited two new people to do some writing for me one being C.J. Britton who started this thread (and I am sure you all know him well haha). C.J. will be covering mainly sports because sports are not my thing. And also my friend Jessica Seales who is absolutely obsessed with music and can do a much better job than myself when it comes to talking about music (Hence the Bonnaroo post!) These two people will really help me keep fresh and interesting content up on the site that I otherwise would not have provided. Between the three of us, it should get pretty interesting.

Keep your eye on the site, I will try and keep up with 1-2 new posts every day, without sacrificing quality. If you just heard about us, here are some "Must Reads":

Cute UAB Girl of the Month: Pamela Hayes

Bonnaroo 2009

Top 5 Super Bowl Commercials

Rolling Meth Lab Bust

Also, if you understand RSS Feed, subscribe to our feed. If you do not understand RSS, I'll be talking about it soon on iloveuab.com.

Thanks for the love!

-Stone

P.S. I Love UAB!
