WOW!! UC has to be able to lock down the inner city schools, Brian Kelly should be trying to build strong relationships with the coaches at Withrow, Hughes, Taft, Woodward, etc. We have gotten strong players from there in the past, first one to come to mind is Antwan Peek. Those schools could turn out to be a gold mind.

OSU hasn't done a great job as of late at locking up City League kids, hopefully that streak will continue with Carridine.

UC backed off of him a while ago.

UC stopped recruiting him back in the spring / early summer.

I've heard from everyone he is almost assuredly heading to junior college.

Still cant believe he won DII SW Player of the Year over Chris Williams. My guess is the mediaites who voted for him haven't actually seen him play but just look at where he is "rated" by Scout, etc...

Saw him against Anderson this year up at UC and was very unimpressed. Not sure I've seen such a highly rated player just stand around and take plays off like he did. Those 36 sacks as a junior have to be made up.

Coached against him, it's not made up. 25 as a soph, 10 in 5 games as a junior, I think 16 this year. Gotta remember that the kid from Anderson is damn good.
