This is in response to posts on your Rivals board. I'm posting here since I don't have any interest in registering over there.

Coach Graham mentioned in his press conference that he did not contact any Tulsa commitments. He specifically stated that Agnew called him first.

Regarding the notion that Agnew suddenly wasn't fast/good enough for you, well, we'll see. I'll give your fanbase the benefit of doubt and assume that those sour grapes are only tasted by a few.

As always, I wish you luck except us. And maybe Tulane. TulU vs. TulU is usually a game-week decision for me. But I'm definitely rooting for you in your other 9 games.
Don't worry about it. I hope you guys get to good enough for other schools to hire away your assistants. Then you can play the sour grapes game. We had a lot of it in basketball before.
I don't know why, but I always admired Coach Hatfield. Any idea of where he will go.
I hope we get that good too. I'd also like us to avoid the sour grapes. But we'll probably have some isolated ones too.

Hatfield did some things very well, other things not so well. I'm not sure what the future holds for him. His time at Rice was surely up, but I'd be happy for him to get a chance to finish his career on a better note.
I think Agnew will be a good player, whether it was going to be at Tulsa or now Rice!! This is not an unusual situation. Tulsa wanted this guy and Rice got him, congratulations!!
