Personally I am glad that Rice started taking the athletics program seriously. An improved Rice helps Rice, Houston and C-USA.

I am not a big recruiting follower. I have learned in the past that you can't really count verbals until they have signed. Then even after they sign, they have to make to campus.....

I've always been fond of Rice because my dad's coworker had season tix and always invited us to go to the games. They had rb Trevor Cobb who was a fun rb to watch, very skilled. The better rice gets, the better and more hyped the Bayou Bucket becomes.
