Well this one is for all the marbles!! Is the Championship game played in Tulsa or El Paso, that's the question?? The Championship game will be played in a CUSA West city!! These teams are very, very similar. They will both run and pass and not completely rely on either one. The QB's are pretty even and the running backs are pretty even, although Tulsa uses more RB's. The defenses also appear pretty even. Somedays the defenses are better than others but overall both are about average. Tulsa has played a tougher schedule, so UTEP definitely won't scare Tulsa whatsoever!! Tulsa has played very well on the road this year!! So I think this game comes down to T/O's and mistakes at the wrong time as to who wins the game. I think UTEP will be fired up to start the game with their fans help and be ahead at halftime. Tulsa is not a good 1st half team. How big a lead UTEP has at halftime may determine the game. Tulsa will have a good 2nd half, UTEP calms down a little and the game is a knocked down drag out fight to the finish. The final score.........
Not so fast -- it's Rice's turn with UTEP first! 05-nono

We'll soften 'em up for you. Here's what I see happening.

By early in the 2nd quarter, the Miners will have run away on Rice, allowing the UTEP starters to pack it in & head up to Goode Company for some BBQ & beer. After the Miner coaches allow everyone else on the team to play (and keep pumping up the UTEP score, of course -- not as much as the gaudy 1st half, but still increasing) the 4th quarter will feature a first-ever event in D-IA football as the UTEP cheerleaders take to the field. We'll put up a field goal on them, but will be unable to stop a last-minute Miner run, thereby coming out -4 against the cheerleaders and losing 156-3.

YAY! :applause:
Real nice job of soften' em them up for for us. It sounds like the only way that happens is if they get in a fight while they are having their BBQ and beer. I firmly believe Rice could at least play it even against their cheerleaders, unless Rice had an overabundance of illegal use of the hands calls!!! :D
Guess I forgot to say I meant the *male* cheerleaders.
