It's getting close--New coach and practically a new team, if nothing else it should be exciting!! I look at this year as preparation for next year!! A .500 or near .500 record is about all I expect,very weak schedule. With that schedule in mind, I feel like our new players like, Hanson, Hall, Reese and especially Mitchell should get a lot of playing time!! This is truly a rebuilding year and the hel! with the record. As a matter of fact I would have absolutely no problem if Coach Woj pretended it was 2006 and played the players he thinks will start and contribute the most in 2006. I say that, even if we only won 5 or 6 games. This year is strictly for getting players ready for next year in my opinion. Mitchell is the most important key to 2006. If Crowe and Mitchell are strong on the boards in 2006 and Hanson, Hall, and Reese get get a lot of experience this year and are ready for 2006, I think we could look forward to the NIT. I expect McDade and Earls to contribute a ton in 2006 as well as this year. Mitchell needs to average 15-20 minutes at least to see if he has starting potential or if he is going to be a 10 min sub. If Michell doesn't come on pretty good, Mclean and Crowe maybe the starters in 2006 and I never like relying on freshmen. I can't imagine there is any pressure at all on Coach Woj to win this year so it should be nothing but a practice season for years to come, when there will be expectations!!!!
