It seems hard to get any kind of information on numbers. I couldnt get an answer on the other board. Could anyone give me an idea?
Thanks

I'm sure the number is close or exceeded by our commit total. Only the coaches know but not positively. Usually teams lose players from atrophy or achedemic failure. Who knows if all the commits actually sign. Too many variables at this time.
I know they are supposedly still after a defensive lineman in the Dallas area, because it was mentioned in the paper Sunday. I presume it's like basketball, if you get one too many recruits signed, you chase somebody off. Committments and signed are two different things though so you won't know if there is a problem until the National Signing Day.
Are we needing a kicker. Last season, was our kicker a senior? If so, any news on recruiting one?
We should try to get some more lineman. This is our most glaring weakness looking at our present roster. Especially on Defense! We lost 5 leaving us 6 and 3 of them will be seniors.
As far as kicker.........Brad DeVault our place kicker will be a JR. Not sure of the depth.
We are losing our best punter Cort Moffitt.
We did use a freshman last year while Moffitt was suspended for some games. He didn't have the distance as Moffitt. Maybe his leg will get stronger if he gets alittle pudge gut that Moffitt had.
from my earlier comments I'm sure everyone knows, I agree completely on the need for offensive and defensive lineman. Since we have had a Bonanza this year with DB's and only a few OL and DL, it wouldn't surprise me if next year those numbers are completely reversed. It also appears, Coach K has no problem with bringing in a little experience from the JUCO ranks to fill some lineman positions. The biggest difference between top BCS and top non BCS schools is first size and then speed. We have picked up a lot of speed this year but only a little size. Even with that in mind, I would say this is the best Tulsa recruiting class in recent memory, if they all sign!!
